From the Newell School Superintendent

Newell News

Preparing for the 2024-2025 school year was a significant task.  The volunteer help and support has been greatly appreciated over the past few months.  I would like to extend a huge thank you to all the volunteers that helped this summer.

Hours were spent by volunteers painting the hallways and lunchroom.  Teachers painted their classrooms to enhance the learning environment. Construction on reenforcing walls and bathrooms refreshed the feeling of commitment to the growth and development of the Newell students.  Investment and time for flowers refreshed the front lawn, while adding vibrant color to the campus. The fresh bright atmosphere has been enjoyed by students and staff during this first week of school.

Volunteering for weightlifting, open gym, and sports camps with students have been vital to preparing students for competition.  Your time spent with our students is precious for the development of young athletes and positive relationships.

I wanted to extend our deepest gratitude for your invaluable contribution through your recent volunteer efforts at the Newell school.  The dedication and hard work from volunteers have made a tremendous difference in our school community. Your commitment has not only enriched the experiences of our students but has also fostered a spirit of collaboration and support within our community.

We recognize that your time and energy are precious, and we are truly appreciative of your willingness to invest both in our school. It is volunteers like you who help to create a nurturing and vibrant environment where our Newell students can thrive and succeed. Your enthusiasm and dedication have not gone unnoticed and have set a wonderful example for others to follow.

Thank you once again for your generosity and support. Newell School District looks forward to continuing our partnership with you and are excited about the positive impact we can make together in the future.
