Funeral services will be held on August 17 for Mary Wendt Parfinovics, age 59, who died Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her parental home south of Belle Fourche.
Mary Frances Wendt was born on January 26, 1965, in Belle Fourche to parents Kenneth Wendt and Mary Rail Wendt. She attended grades K-12 in Belle Fourche, graduating with the class of 1983.
After attending Black Hills State she moved to Phoenix, working there at a law firm. On December 30, 1989 Mary Frances was married to Alan A. Parfinovics at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Belle Fourche. They later moved to the Portland, Oregon area. Their current home is Kona, Hawaii.
Survivors are her husband Alan Parfinovics, Kona, Hawaii; mother, Mary Wendt, Belle Fourche; brothers, Todd (Diane) Wendt, Spearfish and Kelvin (Tammy) Wendt, Belle Fourche; nephew, Jake (Rachel) Wendt and niece, Alyssa (Adam) Cahoy; great-nephew, Elijah Cahoy, all of Spearfish; aunts, uncles and many beloved cousins.
Final arrangements will be announced later.
