July is a traditional time for county fairs in South Dakota. From July 29 through August 3 the tradition continues at the Butte/Lawrence County Fairgrounds in Nisland, SD. This year’s fair theme is: “Sew it, Grow it, Show it!”. There’s still time to enter as entries close on July 19th.
Meanwhile, many other events, activities and extension related activities are happening in July, including a hunting skills challenge on July 5th and 6th hosted by Northern Hills Shooting Sports and a fishing workshop on July 24th and 26th.
